Sunset on the Golden Coast

The Marin Headlands boast some epic views, granted Karl the fog isn't in attendance. This was my first time stopping at Muir Beach where the trail head started, and I got a pretty late start for a sunset hike. By the time I got to Pirate's Cove, the last visitors were on their way out, leaving my a private sanctuary to do as I do--do cartwheels, take photos, and meditate immersed in the elements.
Though hiking back in the dark wasn't ideal, it was worth every moment.
